This project situated in downtown Lubbock Texas was designed to be an art school. This was meant to reinforce the herritage of downtown Lubbock and to endorse first friday art trail.
These plans and sections are much more detailed than in project one and was the first time that we were required to program space and meet requirements for square footage and different uses of spaces.
Detailed backgrounds and site context were also included within the drawings.
This project began with the analysis of precedents that we then created hybrid models from our understanding of the precedents. This created a unique form that we were able to duplicate in order to meet the square footage requirements of the building.
